Henry Luce, what a guy!…A and B Work for WW II

This is NOT Henry Luce…

But The reason we have a Time Person of the Year is because of Henry Luce,

and this is Mr. Luce!

Luce started both Time and Life magazines and was considered one of the most progressive thinkers of his era, maybe the Zukerberg of the pre-digital world.

Luce wrote many wonderful things, but the A work for the current unit on World War II will ask you to read an essay of his called the American Century. A little long, but a fun read, you will enjoy it. the link to the reading is here.

But, before you start your reading you will want to read and, maybe, print out this information sheet on how to write a reaction paper, which is what you have to do following the reading of the essay. Make sure that the reaction paper follows the direction on the instruction sheet and is due by Monday, May 2. The paper cannot be longer than two pages typed, single space size 12 font

Now, you got this in class a couple of days ago, but here is the B work questions. they are due Wednesday, April 27.
